In my effort to be closer to God, I am always looking for additional ways to encourage devotional time. Most people are busy and would love to spend more time reading and studying their Bible, but life sometimes gets in the way. So devotional books and guides are a great help. I think this book is very helpful in making it more appealing to men with the sports themes.
The daily devotions are an easy read and don’t require you to set aside hours of time for reading. So even if you aren’t a heavy reader you will be able to get to the point and get a lot out of this book.
There are forty lessons have been grouped into six primary areas:
1. How do You Know When You Are Living Life in the Zone?
2. Finding the Zone in Your Relationship with your Wife
3. Finding the Zone in Your Relationship with your Children
4. Finding the Zone in Your Relationships with your Friends
5. Finding the Zone in Your Relationships at Work
6. Finding the Zone as you look to the Future.
The areas are not complete, in-depth resources with all of the right answer, but contain solid advice for men at home and work. Each chapter ends with questions and an assignment – some of which are very challenging. I found this book to be thought-provoking and helpful.
